1.
COMMUNITY
VIOLENCE
TASK
FORCE.

1.
The
attorney
general
shall
establish
a
statewide
2
community
violence
task
force
to
investigate
violence
in
3
communities,
including
gun
violence,
to
review
proposed
4
solutions
to
such
violence,
and
to
develop
and
make
5
recommendations
for
establishing
safe
communities
free
from
6
violence
throughout
the
state.
The
members
of
the
task
force
7
shall
include
stakeholders
in
the
criminal
justice
system,
8
community
leaders,
local
government
officials,
and
legislators.

2.
The
community
violence
task
force
shall
submit
a
report
10
containing
recommendations
to
the
general
assembly
by
January
11
15,
2017.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does

constitute
agreement
with

the
members
of
the

assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
the

general
shall
