S.F. 2160 Section 1. ORAL CONTRACEPTIVES —— PRESCRIBING AND 1 DISPENSING OF UP TO TWELVE-MONTH SUPPLY. The department of 2 human services shall provide for the prescribing and dispensing 3 of up to a twelve-month supply of oral contraceptives at one 4 time as a covered benefit for a member under the Medicaid 5 program. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 This bill directs the department of human services to 10 provide for the prescribing and dispensing of up to a 12-month 11 supply of oral contraceptives at one time as a covered benefit 12 for a member under the Medicaid program. 13 -1- LSB 5494SV (1) 86 pf/nh 1/ 1
