Section
1.
Section
20.25,
subsection
6,
Code
2015,
is
1
amended
to
read
as
follows:

6.
An
employee
organization
that
has
not
registered
or
3
filed
an
annual
report,
or
that
has
failed
to
comply
with
4
other
provisions
of
this
chapter
,
shall
not
be
certified.
5
Certified
employee
organizations
failing
to
comply
with
this
6
chapter
may
shall
have
such
certification
revoked
by
the
board.
7
Prohibitions
may
be
enforced
by
injunction
upon
the
petition
8
of
the
board
to
the
district
court
of
the
county
in
which
the
9
violation
occurs.
Complaints
of
violation
of
this
section
10
shall
be
filed
with
the
board.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
13
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

Current
law
permits
the
public
employment
relations
15
board
to
revoke
the
board’s
certification
of
an
employee
16
organization
that
fails
to
comply
with
Code
chapter
20,
the
17
public
employment
relations
Act.
This
bill
requires
the
board
18
to
revoke
such
certifications.
