H.F. _____ Section 1. Section 20.25, subsection 7, Code 2015, is 1 amended to read as follows: 2 7. Upon the written request of any member of individual 3 represented by a certified employee organization, the auditor 4 of state may audit the financial records of the certified 5 employee organization. 6 EXPLANATION 7 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 8 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 9 Current law permits the auditor of state to audit the 10 financial records of an employee organization certified by the 11 public employment relations board upon the written request of 12 any member of the employee organization.
