subrule
2,
as
appearing
in
ARC
1909C,
as
published

in
the
Iowa
administrative
bulletin,
volume
XXXVII,
number
19,

dated
March
18,
2015,
p.
1684,
is
nullified.

Sec.
2.
This
joint
resolution,
being
deemed
of
immediate
5
importance,
takes
effect
upon
enactment.

EXPLANATION
7
The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
8
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
joint
resolution
nullifies
an
amendment
to
an
10
administrative
rule
adopted
by
the
board
of
physician
11
assistants
removing
a
requirement
that
a
physician
supervising
12
a
physician
assistant
who
is
practicing
in
a
remote
medical
13
site
physically
visit
and
practice
at
the
remote
medical
site
14
at
least
every
two
weeks.
A
session
delay
was
imposed
on
15
this
rulemaking
by
the
administrative
rules
review
committee
16
in
April
2015.
By
nullifying
the
amendment
to
the
rule,
17
physicians
will
continue
to
generally
be
required
to
visit
18
remote
medical
sites
every
two
weeks.
19
This
joint
resolution
takes
effect
upon
enactment.
