H.F. _____ Section 1. SECURE AN ADVANCED VISION FOR EDUCATION 1 LEGISLATIVE INTERIM COMMITTEE —— REQUEST. The legislative 2 council is requested to establish a legislative interim 3 committee on the collection and use of state sales, services, 4 and use taxes tax revenue from the secure an advanced vision 5 for education fund for the 2015 legislative interim. The 6 legislative interim committee shall evaluate the efficacy 7 of the uses of funding from the fund, identify concerns or 8 problems related to the use of funding from the fund, consider 9 proposals for additional or alternative uses of funding from 10 the fund, and consider extension of the repeal date for chapter 11 423F. The interim committee shall submit its findings and 12 recommendations to the general assembly for consideration 13 during the 2016 legislative session. 14 EXPLANATION 15 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 16 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 17 This bill requests the legislative council to establish 18 a legislative interim committee on the collection and use of 19 state sales, services, and use taxes tax revenue from the 20 secure an advanced vision for education fund for the 2015 21 legislative interim.
