MILLER , SEXTON , JACOBY , KOESTER , HANSON , OLSON , OLDSON , DRAKE , MEYER , HUSEMAN , KELLEY , STAED , ANDERSON , McCONKEY , OURTH , ABDUL-SAMAD , STECKMAN , SMITH , GASKILL , HUNTER , STUTSMAN , MASCHER , WINCKLER , LENSING , THEDE , COHOON , BEARINGER , RUFF , WESSEL-KROESCHELL , KRESSIG , BROWN-POWERS , GAINES , and LYKAM A Resolution recognizing and congratulating the Iowa 1 Central Community College wrestling team and program 2 on winning its eighth national title. 3 WHEREAS, the Iowa Central Community College 4 wrestling team (the Tritons) were in 31st place with 5 one team point after the first round of the 2015 6 National Junior College Athletic Association Wrestling 7 Championships, held on February 27-28, 2015, in Des 8 Moines, Iowa; and 9 WHEREAS, the Tritons rallied and headed into the 10 championship round with a 13-point advantage over 11 Oregon’s top-ranked Clackamas Community College; and 12 WHEREAS, the Tritons claimed three national 13 champions and eight All-Americans en route to 158.5 14 team points for the team championship title; and 15 WHEREAS, winning the championship title marked the 16 Tritons’ eighth overall wrestling team title and the 17 28th overall team title for Iowa Central Community 18 College; NOW THEREFORE, 19 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, 20 That the House of Representatives recognizes and 21 congratulates the Iowa Central Community College 22 -1- LSB 2604HH (3) 86 rn/nh 1/ 2
