H.J.R. 2007 Section 1. 491 Iowa administrative code, rule 1.7, subrule 1 3, is nullified. 2 Sec. 2. This joint resolution, being deemed of immediate 3 importance, takes effect upon enactment. 4 EXPLANATION 5 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 6 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 7 This joint resolution nullifies an administrative rule 8 adopted by the racing and gaming commission that provides that 9 the commission will consider the economic impact of granting 10 a license to conduct gaming in Iowa, including the impact on 11 existing licenses. 12 The joint resolution takes effect upon enactment. 13 -1- LSB 5933YH (2) 86 ec/rj 1/ 1
