H.F. 375 Section 1. NEW SECTION . 468.12A Abstract. 1 An attorney or abstractor who prepares an abstract of 2 title for land located within an existing drainage or levee 3 district shall indicate that the land is part of such district. 4 The county where the land is located shall provide records 5 necessary for the attorney or abstractor to prepare the 6 abstract. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 This bill applies to land located within a drainage or 11 levee district. An attorney or abstractor must indicate that 12 the land is part of such district when preparing an abstract 13 of title.
