H.F. 294 Section 1. CHILD CARE PROVIDER REIMBURSEMENT RATES. For the 1 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015, for child care providers 2 reimbursed under the state child care assistance program, 3 the department shall set provider reimbursement rates based 4 on the rate reimbursement survey completed in December 2014. 5 The department shall set rates in a manner so as to provide 6 incentives for a nonregistered provider to become registered 7 by applying the increase only to registered and licensed 8 providers. 9 EXPLANATION 10 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 11 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 12 This bill requires the department of human services to set 13 child care provider reimbursement rates under the state child 14 care assistance program based on the rate reimbursement survey 15 completed in December 2014.
