1.
NEW
SECTION
.
307.32
Annual
report
——
replacement
1
and
repair
of
structurally
deficient
secondary
bridges.

On
or
before
February
15
of
each
year,
the
department
shall
3
compile
the
annual
reports
received
pursuant
to
section
309.44
4
into
a
cumulative
report
and
submit
the
cumulative
report
in
5
electronic
format
to
the
chairpersons
of
the
senate
and
house
6
of
representatives
standing
committees
on
transportation
and
7
the
legislative
services
agency.

SECTION

Annual

structurally
deficient
bridges.

Between
December
1
and
December
15
of
each
year,
the
county
11
engineer
of
each
county
in
the
state
shall
certify
and
file
a
12
report
with
the
department
detailing
the
manner
in
which
moneys
13
received
by
the
county
from
the
road
use
tax
fund
were
used
to
14
replace
or
repair
structurally
deficient
bridges
in
the
county.

The
report
shall
include
all
of
the
following:

1.
The
number
of
bridges
under
the
county’s
jurisdiction
17
that
have
been
replaced
or
repaired
to
the
point
that
they
18
function
at
full
capacity.
19
2.
The
number
of
bridges
under
the
county’s
jurisdiction
20
that
have
been
partially
replaced
or
partially
repaired
to
21
alleviate
some
structural
deficiencies,
but
not
to
the
point
22
that
the
bridges
function
at
full
capacity,
and
a
brief
23
description
of
the
replacements
or
repairs
necessary
to
allow
24
them
to
function
at
full
capacity.

The
number
of
bridges
under
the
county’s
jurisdiction

that
are
in
the
process
of
being
replaced
or
repaired
and
a
27
description
of
the
timeline
of
each
replacement
or
repair
28
project.

4.
The
number
of
bridges
under
the
county’s
jurisdiction

that
remain
structurally
deficient
and
a
description
of
the

timeline
for
replacement
or
repair
of
each
bridge,
if
any.

This
bill
requires
county
engineers
to
file
annual
reports

with
the
department
of
transportation
(DOT)
detailing
the

manner
in
which
moneys
received
by
the
counties
from
the
road
3
use
tax
fund
were
used
to
replace
or
repair
structurally
4
deficient
bridges
in
the
counties.
The
bill
requires
the
5
reports
to
be
submitted
between
December
1
and
December
15.

The
bill
provides
that
each
annual
report
shall
include
a
7
description
of
the
number
of
fully
functional
county
bridges,
8
partially
replaced
or
repaired
county
bridges,
structurally
9
deficient
county
bridges,
and
pending
county
bridge
replacement
10
or
repair
projects.
11
By
February
15,
the
DOT
is
required
to
compile
the
annual
12
reports
into
a
cumulative
report
and
submit
the
cumulative
13
report
in
electronic
format
to
the
chairpersons
of
the
14
senate
and
house
of
representatives
standing
committees
on
15
transportation
and
the
legislative
services
agency.
