H.F. 2134 Section 1. REPEAL. 2000 Iowa Acts, chapter 1002, section 1 7, is repealed. 2 EXPLANATION 3 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 4 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 5 This bill removes legislative intent from the 2000 Iowa 6 Acts prohibiting the dental board from adopting rules that 7 would allow a dental assistant to administer local anesthesia, 8 place sealants, or remove any plaque, stain, calculus, or hard 9 natural or synthetic material except by toothbrush, floss, or 10 rubber cup coronal polish.
