firearm,
whether
concealed

the
person
has

the
person’s
possession
and
displays

a

officer
on
demand
a
valid
permit
to
carry
weapons

which
has
been
issued
to
the
person,
and
the
person’s
conduct

is
within
the
limits
of
that
permit.

Current
law
provides
that
a
person
shall
not
operate
or
ride
7
on
a
snowmobile
or
an
all-terrain
vehicle
with
a
firearm
in
the
8
person’s
possession
unless
it
is
unloaded
and
enclosed
in
a
9
carrying
case.
However,
a
nonambulatory
person
may
carry
an
10
uncased
and
unloaded
firearm
while
operating
or
riding
on
a
11
snowmobile
or
an
all-terrain
vehicle.

A
person
who
violates
Code
section
321G.13(2)
or
321I.14(2)
13
commits
a
simple
misdemeanor
punishable
as
a
scheduled
fine
in
14
the
amount
of
$100
pursuant
to
Code
section
805.8B(2)(b)(3)
or
15
(2A)(b)(3),
as
applicable.
