H.F. 108 Section 1. Section 257.42, unnumbered paragraph 3, Code 1 2015, is amended to read as follows: 2 The department shall employ a consultant entirely dedicated 3 to programs for gifted and talented children programs . 4 EXPLANATION 5 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 6 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 7 This bill requires that the consultant for gifted and 8 talented children programs, whom the department is currently 9 required to employ, must be entirely dedicated to programs for 10 talented and gifted children. 11 -1- LSB 1861YH (6) 86 kh/sc 1/ 1
