for

2,
paragraph
c,
Code

2014,
is
amended
to
read
as
follows:

Advise,
confer,
and
consult
with
the
state
fire
service

and
emergency
response
council
in
developing
rules
establishing

minimum
standards
for
fire
service
training
and
providing
for
11
the
revocation
of
certificates
issued
for
fire
service
training
12
for
fire
fighters
convicted
of
a
felony
.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
directs
the
state
fire
service
and
emergency
17
response
council
to
develop
and
submit
to
the
state
fire
18
marshal
for
adoption
rules
establishing
a
procedure
for
19
revoking
certificates
issued
for
fire
service
training
for
fire
20
fighters
convicted
of
a
felony.
The
bill
provides
that
the
21
administrator
of
the
fire
service
training
bureau
advise
the
22
council
in
developing
these
rules.
