read
as
follows:

a.
(1)
The
governing
board
of
the
county
land
record

information
system
shall
not
may
enter
into
an
agreement
to

provide
access
to
electronic
documents
or
records
on
a
batch
5
basis
and
may
collect
reasonable
fees
for
providing
such
6
access
.

(2)
The
county
recorder
may
collect
reasonable
fees
for
8
providing
access
to
electronic
documents
and
records
pursuant
9
to
an
agreement.
10
(3)
The
fees
collected
pursuant
to
this
paragraph
“a”
11
shall
not
exceed
the
actual
cost
of
providing
access
to
the
12
electronic
documents
and
records.
“Actual
cost”
means
only
13
those
expenses
directly
attributable
to
providing
access
to
14
electronic
documents
and
records.
“Actual
cost”
shall
not
15
include
costs
such
as
employment
benefits,
depreciation,
16
maintenance,
electricity,
or
insurance
associated
with
the
17
administration
of
the
office
of
the
county
recorder
or
the
18
county
land
record
information
system.

b.
Electronic
documents
and
records
made
available
under
20
this
subsection
by
accessing
an
internet
site
operated
21
by
a
political
subdivision
of
this
state
or
by
political
22
subdivisions
of
this
state
under
an
agreement
entered
23
into
pursuant
to
chapter
28E
shall
not
include
personally
24
identifiable
information
and
shall
be
subjected
to
a
redaction
25
process
prior
to
the
transfer
of
the
electronic
documents
26
or
records
to
another
person
pursuant
to
an
agreement
under
27
paragraph
“a”
.
Electronic
documents
and
records
made
available
28
under
this
subsection
through
other
means
are
not
required
to
29
be
subjected
to
a
redaction
process
prior
to
transfer
of
the
30
electronic
documents
or
records
by
the
recorder
or
the
board

to
another
person
or
business
pursuant
to
an
agreement
under

paragraph
“a”
.

This
bill
relates
to
agreements
to
access
electronic

The
bill
provides
that
the
board
of
the
county
land
record

information
system
may
enter
into
an
agreement
to
provide

access
to
electronic
documents
or
records
on
a
batch
basis

for
a
reasonable
fee.
Current
law
prohibits
the
board
of
the
6
county
land
record
information
system
from
entering
into
such
7
agreements.

The
bill
provides
that
electronic
documents
and
records
made
9
available
by
accessing
internet
sites
operated
by
political
10
subdivisions
shall
not
include
personally
identifiable
11
information
and
shall
be
subjected
to
a
redaction
process
prior

to
transfer.
The
bill
provides
that
electronic
documents
and
