S.F. _____ Section 1. Section 123.135, Code 2013, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 4A. It shall be unlawful for any holder 3 of a brewer’s certificate of compliance to have any interest, 4 directly or indirectly, in the business of a class “A” or a 5 class “AA” permittee. 6 EXPLANATION 7 This bill makes it unlawful for a holder of a brewer’s 8 certificate of compliance to have any interest in the business 9 of a class “A” or a class “AA” permittee. A violation of this 10 new provision subjects the holder to a civil penalty of no more 11 than $1,000 or suspension of the brewer’s certificate for no 12 more than one year, or both. 13 -1- LSB 1886XC (2) 85 ec/nh 1/ 1
