NEW SECTION . 249A.15C Licensed dental hygienists 1 eligible for payment. 2 The department shall adopt rules pursuant to chapter 17A 3 entitling dental hygienists who are licensed pursuant to 4 chapter 153 to payment for services provided to recipients of 5 medical assistance, subject to limitations and exclusions the 6 department finds necessary on the basis of federal laws and 7 regulations. 8 EXPLANATION 9 This bill directs the department of human services to adopt 10 rules entitling licensed dental hygienists to payment for 11 services provided to recipients of medical assistance, subject 12 to limitations and exclusions the department finds necessary on 13 the basis of federal laws and regulations. 14 -1- LSB 1754SC (2) 85 pf/nh 1/ 1
