plan.
1
Each
board
of
directors
of
a
school
district
shall
develop
2
and
implement
a
comprehensive
emergency
management
plan
that
3
addresses
school
safety,
security
procedures,
and
emergency
4
guidelines
relating
to
school
shootings,
assaults,
and
other
5
incidences
that
threaten
the
safety
and
security
of
school
6
students
and
school
employees.
The
emergency
management
plan
7
shall
include
training
procedures
for
teachers
and
other
school
8
employees
and
students
and
shall
also
include
a
plan
to
develop
9
and
implement
school-community
partnerships,
including
mental
10
health
service
partnerships,
in
the
local
community.

EXPLANATION

The
bill
requires
each
board
of
directors
of
a
school
13
district
to
develop
and
implement
a
comprehensive
emergency
14
management
plan
that
addresses
school
safety,
security
15
procedures,
and
emergency
guidelines
relating
to
school
16
shootings,
assaults,
and
other
incidences
that
threaten
the
17
safety
and
security
of
school
students
and
school
employees,
18
which
shall
include
training
procedures
for
teachers
and
other
19
school
employees
and
students.
The
plan
shall
also
include
a
20
plan
to
develop
and
implement
school-community
partnerships,
21
including
mental
health
service
partnerships,
in
the
local
22
community.
