S.F. 280 Section 1. Section 103.23, subsection 1, Code 2013, is 1 amended to read as follows: 2 1. All new electrical installations for commercial , farm, 3 or industrial applications, including installations both inside 4 and outside of buildings, and for public use buildings and 5 facilities and any installation at the request of the property 6 owner. 7 EXPLANATION 8 This bill makes new electrical installations on farms 9 subject to the inspection and enforcement provisions of Code 10 chapter 103. Such provisions include requiring the submission 11 of a request for inspection, payment of inspection fees, 12 performance of an inspection by the state or a political 13 subdivision of the state, and condemnation and disconnection 14 orders and appeal procedures. 15 -1- LSB 2315XS (1) 85 rn/rj 1/ 1
