business
shall
perform
the
background

accessing

contact
repository
established

under
section

subsection

applicant

the
requirement
of
the
background
check
required
under

and
obtain
a
signed
waiver
from
the
applicant
or

prior
to
requesting
such
a
check.

This
bill
relates
to
criminal

and
abuse
registry

checks
for
certain
food
vendors.

The
bill
provides
that
a
business
that
operates
a
motor

vehicle
primarily
marketing
the
sale
and
dispensing
of
ice

cream
or
other
food
products
from
or
near
the
motor
vehicle
28
to
children
may
require
an
applicant
for
employment
or
an
29
employee
of
the
business
to
undergo
a
criminal
history
and
30
abuse
registry
record
check
by
the
business.

The
bill
requires
the
business
to
inform
the
applicant
for

employment
or
employee
of
the
background
check
and
obtain
a
33
signed
waiver
prior
to
requesting
a
check.
