H.F. 483 Section 1. NEW SECTION . 96.36 Referral of applicants for 1 employment —— employer notification and verification. 2 If an employer files a request with the department for 3 referral of applicants by the department to the employer for 4 a job opening, the department shall notify the employer on a 5 monthly basis of the number of referrals the department has 6 made to the employer for the job opening. In addition to the 7 notification, the department shall request verification that 8 the employer is still in need of referral of applicants for the 9 job opening. 10 EXPLANATION 11 This bill provides that if an employer files a request 12 with the department of workforce development for referral of 13 applicants by the department to the employer for a job opening, 14 the department must notify the employer on a monthly basis 15 of the number of referrals the department has made to the 16 employer for the job opening.
