H.F. 370 Section 1. Section 484A.1, subsection 2, Code 2013, is 1 amended to read as follows: 2 2. “Migratory game bird” means any wild goose, brant, wild 3 duck, snipe, rail, woodcock, mourning dove, or coot. 4 EXPLANATION 5 This bill requires a person to pay the migratory game bird 6 fee of $8 before hunting mourning doves. A violation of this 7 provision is punishable as a scheduled violation with a fine 8 of $10 or as a simple misdemeanor. A simple misdemeanor is 9 punishable by confinement for no more than 30 days or a fine of 10 at least $65 but not more than $625 or by both. 11 -1- LSB 2013HH (2) 85 av/nh 1/ 1
