H.F. 331 Section 1. Section 123.40, Code 2013, is amended to read as 1 follows: 2 123.40 Effect of revocation. 3 Any liquor control licensee, wine permittee, or beer 4 permittee whose license or permit is revoked under this chapter 5 shall not thereafter be permitted to hold a liquor control 6 license, wine permit, or beer permit in the state of Iowa for a 7 period of two years from the date of revocation. A spouse or 8 business associate holding ten percent or more of the capital 9 stock or ownership interest in the business of a person whose 10 license or permit has been revoked shall not be issued a liquor 11 control license, wine permit, or beer permit, and no liquor 12 control license, wine permit, or beer permit shall be issued 13 which covers any business in which such person has a financial 14 interest for a period of two years from the date of revocation. 15 If a license or permit is revoked, the premises which had been 16 covered by the license or permit shall not be relicensed for 17 one year three years . 18 EXPLANATION 19 This bill provides that the premises which had been covered 20 by a liquor control license, wine permit, or beer permit that 21 was revoked shall not be relicensed for three years.
