H.F. 2469 Section 1. GREYHOUND RACING AT PARI-MUTUEL RACETRACKS —— 1 LEGISLATIVE INTENT. It is the intent of the general assembly 2 to enact legislation concerning live dog racing requirements at 3 pari-mutuel dog racetracks, purse supplements, fees, and other 4 properly related matters. 5 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE UPON ENACTMENT. This Act, being deemed of 6 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 This bill provides that it is the intent of the general 11 assembly to enact legislation concerning live dog racing 12 requirements at pari-mutuel dog racetracks.
