H.F. 2225 Section 1. Section 99F.11, subsection 3, unnumbered 1 paragraph 1, Code 2014, is amended to read as follows: 2 The For licensees authorized to conduct gambling games 3 pursuant to this chapter as of January 1, 2014, the taxes 4 imposed by this section shall be paid by the licensee to the 5 treasurer of state within ten days after the close of the day 6 when the wagers were made and shall be distributed as follows: 7 Sec. 2. Section 99F.11, Code 2014, is amended by adding the 8 following new subsection: 9 NEW SUBSECTION . 4. For licensees not authorized to conduct 10 gambling games pursuant to this chapter as of January 1, 2014, 11 the taxes imposed by this section shall be paid by the licensee 12 to the treasurer of state within ten days after the close of 13 the day when the wagers were made and shall be deposited in the 14 road use tax fund created in section 312.1. 15 EXPLANATION 16 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 17 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 18 This bill provides that receipts from the wagering tax 19 imposed on gambling games conducted by a licensee that was not 20 authorized to conduct gambling games as of January 1, 2014, 21 shall be deposited in the road use tax fund. 22 -1- LSB 6083YH (2) 85 ec/tm 1/ 1
