H.F. 2215 Section 1. Section 84A.5, subsection 1, Code 2014, is 1 amended by adding the following new paragraph: 2 NEW PARAGRAPH . c. As part of the department’s integrated 3 workforce delivery efforts, the department shall implement 4 in the department’s Iowaworks system a notification feature 5 whereby workers and businesses participating in the Iowaworks 6 system can determine what actions have been taken through the 7 Iowaworks system to meet their workforce-related needs and 8 goals. 9 EXPLANATION 10 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 11 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 12 This bill requires the department of workforce development, 13 as part of the department’s integrated workforce delivery 14 efforts, to implement in the department’s Iowaworks system 15 a notification feature whereby workers and businesses 16 participating in the system can determine what actions have 17 been taken through the system to meet their workforce-related 18 needs and goals.
