There is appropriated from the general fund of 2 the state to the Iowa finance authority for the fiscal year 3 beginning July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2015, the following 4 amount, or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the 5 purposes designated: 6 For deposit in the water pollution control works revolving 7 loan fund created in section 455B.295: 8 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 20,000,000 9 Of the moneys appropriated in this section, the authority 10 may use not more than two million dollars for grants to 11 unsewered communities to be used for engineering and 12 feasibility studies. 13 EXPLANATION 14 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 15 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 16 This bill appropriates $20 million from the general fund 17 of the state to the Iowa finance authority for FY 2014-2015 18 for deposit in the water pollution control works revolving 19 loan fund.
