Prohibition
of
termination
1
of
pregnancy
by
telecommunications
technology
——
penalty.

A
person
shall
not
cause
to
be
dispensed
to
a
pregnant
woman,
3
via
telecommunications
technology
including
but
not
limited
4
to
a
webcam
or
teleconferencing,
any
chemical
agent
or
drug
5
designed
to
terminate
a
human
pregnancy
with
the
intent
that
6
the
pregnant
woman
will
use
the
chemical
agent
or
drug
to
7
terminate
the
woman’s
pregnancy.
A
person
who
violates
this
8
section
is
guilty
of
a
serious
misdemeanor.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
11
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
relates
to
the
use
of
telecommunications
13
technology
in
the
termination
of
a
pregnancy.
The
bill
14
prohibits
a
person
from
causing
to
be
dispensed
to
a
pregnant
15
woman,
via
telecommunications
technology
including
but
not
16
limited
to
a
webcam
or
teleconferencing,
any
chemical
agent
or
17
drug
designed
to
terminate
a
human
pregnancy
with
the
intent
18
that
the
pregnant
woman
will
use
the
chemical
agent
or
drug
to
19
terminate
the
woman’s
pregnancy.
A
person
who
violates
the
20
bill
is
guilty
of
a
serious
misdemeanor.
A
serious
misdemeanor
21
is
punishable
by
confinement
for
no
more
than
one
year
and
a
22
fine
of
at
least
$315
but
not
more
than
$1,875.
