Exception.

An
entity
certified
by
the
centers
for
Medicare
and
Medicaid

services
of
the
United
States
department
of
health
and
human

services
as
a
federal
program
of
all-inclusive
care
for
the

elderly
shall
not
be
required
to
be
certified
as
an
adult
day

services
program
under
this
chapter.

EXPLANATION

This
bill
grants
an
exception
from
the
state
certification
8
requirement
applicable
to
an
adult
day
services
program
under
9
Code
chapter
231D,
if
the
program
is
certified
as
a
federal
10
program
for
all-inclusive
care
for
the
elderly.
