S.F. _____ Section 1. Section 249A.4B, subsection 2, paragraph a, Code 1 2011, is amended by adding the following new subparagraph: 2 NEW SUBPARAGRAPH . (41) The Iowa dietetic association. 3 EXPLANATION 4 This bill adds a representative of the Iowa dietetic 5 association to the membership of the medical assistance 6 advisory council. The medical assistance advisory council was 7 created pursuant to federal law to advise the director of the 8 department of human services about health and medical care 9 services under the medical assistance program. The council 10 is authorized to meet no more than quarterly. An executive 11 committee of the council comprised of 11 members is authorized 12 to meet monthly. 13 -1- LSB 2127XC (3) 84 pf/nh 1/ 1
