screening
of
an
employee,
vendor,

agent

the
business
through
the
federal
bureau

if
conducted,
shall
be
by
submission
of

fingerprints
through
the
state
criminal
history
repository
to

federal
bureau
of
investigation.

EXPLANATION

This
bill
relates
to
criminal
history
record
checks
for

certain
food
vendors.

The
bill
provides
that
a
business
that
operates
a
motor
19
vehicle
primarily
marketing
the
sale
and
dispensing
of
ice
20
cream
or
other
food
products
from
or
near
the
motor
vehicle
to
21
children
may
require
an
employee,
vendor,
contractor,
or
agent
22
of
the
business
to
undergo
a
criminal
history
record
check
by
23
the
business.

The
bill
further
provides
that
the
business
may
request
the
25
division
of
criminal
investigation
of
the
department
of
public
26
safety
to
conduct
a
national
criminal
history
record
check

through
the
federal
bureau
of
investigation.
The
bill
requires

that
the

of
an
employee,
vendor,
contractor,
or
agent

the
business

the
federal
bureau
of
investigation,
