United
Nations
Agenda

nongovernmental
organization
International

Council
of
Local
Environmental
Initiatives.

WHEREAS,
the
United
Nations
Agenda
21
is
a
4
comprehensive
plan
of
extreme
environmentalism,
5
social
engineering,
and
global
political
control
that
6
was
initiated
at
the
United
Nations
Conference
on
7
Environment
and
Development
(UNCED)
held
in
Rio
de
8
Janeiro,
Brazil,
in
1992;
and
9
WHEREAS,
neither
the
United
States
government
nor
10
any
state
or
local
government
is
legally
bound
by
the
11
United
Nations
Agenda
21
treaty
in
that
it
has
never
12
been
ratified
by
the
United
States
Senate;
and
13
WHEREAS,
the
United
Nations
Agenda
21
is
being
14
covertly
spread
into
local
communities
throughout
15
the
United
States
through
the
International
Council
16
of
Local
Environmental
Initiatives
(ICLEI),
now
17
calling
itself
Local
Governments
for
Sustainability,
18
through
the
promotion
of
local
sustainable
development
19
policies,
such
as
Smart
Growth,
Wildlands
Project,
20
Resilient
Cities,
Regional
Visioning
Projects,
and
21
other
“Green”
or
“Alternative”
projects;
and
22
WHEREAS,
this
plan
of
radical,
so-called
sustainable
23
development
views
the
American
way
of
life
of
private
24
property
ownership,
single-family
homes,
private
car
25
ownership
and
individual
travel
choices,
and
privately
26
owned
farms
as
destructive
to
the
environment;
and

WHEREAS,
according
to
the
United
Nations
Agenda
21

policy,
social
justice
is
described
as
the
right
and
1
opportunity
of
all
people
to
benefit
equally
from
the
2
resources
afforded
by
society
and
the
environment
which
3
would
be
accomplished
by
a
socialist
or
communist-style
4
redistribution
of
wealth;
and
5
WHEREAS,
according
to
the
United
Nations
Agenda
6
21
policy,
national
sovereignty
is
deemed
a
social
7
injustice;
NOW
THEREFORE,
8
BE
IT
RESOLVED
BY
THE
HOUSE
OF
REPRESENTATIVES,
9
That
the
House
of
Representatives
opposes
all
state
or
10
local
efforts
implementing
programs
of,
expending
any
11
sum
of
money
for,
being
a
member
of,
receiving
funding
12
from,
contracting
services
from,
or
giving
financial
13
or
other
forms
of
aid
to
ICLEI
—
Local
Governments
for
14
Sustainability,
or
any
other
organization
promoting
15
the
implementation
of
the
United
Nations
Agenda
21,
16
sustainable
development,
or
smart
growth;
and
17
BE
IT
FURTHER
RESOLVED,
That
the
House
of
18
Representatives
recognizes
the
destructive
and
19
insidious
nature
of
the
United
Nations
Agenda
21,
20
endorses
rejection
of
its
radical
policies
and
of
any
21
grant
moneys
attached
to
it,
and
recommends
exposing
to
22
the
public
and
public
policymakers
across
the
country
23
the
dangerous
intent
of
the
United
Nations
Agenda
21
24
plan.
