H.F. 336 Section 1. Section 322.3, Code 2011, is amended by adding 1 the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 16. A manufacturer, distributor, or 3 importer of motor vehicles or an agent or representative 4 of such manufacturer, distributor, or importer shall not 5 compensate motor vehicle dealers at different rates for the 6 same warranty parts, repairs, or service supplied by a motor 7 vehicle dealer. 8 EXPLANATION 9 This bill prohibits a motor vehicle manufacturer, 10 distributor, or importer, or an agent or representative of a 11 motor vehicle manufacturer, distributor, or importer, from 12 compensating motor vehicle dealers at different rates for the 13 same warranty parts, repairs, or service supplied by a motor 14 vehicle dealer. 15 -1- LSB 2321YH (3) 84 dea/nh 1/ 1
