H.F. 273 Section 1. Section 152A.2, subsection 2, Code 2011, is 1 amended to read as follows: 2 2. Renewal of a license granted under this chapter shall not 3 be approved unless the applicant has satisfactorily completed 4 the continuing education requirements for the license as 5 prescribed by the board this section . 6 a. Licensees shall maintain a registration status through 7 the commission on dietetic registration. The renewal of a 8 license under this chapter shall coincide with the period for 9 registration through the commission. 10 b. The requirements for continuing education may be met by 11 completing the continuing professional education requirements 12 of the commission on dietetic registration. 13 EXPLANATION 14 This bill provides that the renewal of a license to practice 15 dietetics shall coincide with the period for registration 16 through the commission on dietetic registration.
