H.F. 2230 Section 1. NEW SECTION . 468.12A Abstract. 1 An attorney or abstractor who prepares an abstract of 2 title for land located within an existing levee or drainage 3 district shall indicate that the land is part of such district. 4 The county where the land is located shall provide records 5 necessary for the attorney or abstractor to prepare the 6 abstract. 7 EXPLANATION 8 This bill applies to land located within a levee or drainage 9 district. An attorney or abstractor must indicate that the 10 land is part of such district when preparing an abstract of 11 title.
