EFFECTIVE
UPON
ENACTMENT.
This
Act,
being
deemed
of

immediate
importance,
takes
effect
upon
enactment.

EXPLANATION

This
bill
makes
supplemental
appropriations
from
the
general

fund
of
the
state
for
fiscal
year
2011-2012
to
the
department
21
of
corrections.
The
following
appropriations
made
in
2011
Iowa
22
Acts,
chapter
134
(SF
510),
to
the
department
are
addressed:
23
correctional
facilities,
administration,
and
judicial
24
district
departments
of
correctional
services
(community-based
25
corrections
or
CBCs).

The
bill
takes
effect
upon
enactment.
