S.F. 2369 Section 1. Section 291.10, Code 2009, is amended to read as 1 follows: 2 291.10 Reports by secretary. 3 1. The school district shall file an annual report with the 4 director of the department of education on forms prepared for 5 that purpose. 6 2. The annual report shall include the financial 7 information required in section 423F.5, subsection 1, as 8 related to moneys received under chapter 423E or 423F, as 9 applicable, for each budget year. 10 Sec. 2. Section 256.9, Code Supplement 2009, is amended by 11 adding the following new subsection: 12 NEW SUBSECTION . 18A. The department shall compile the 13 financial information related to chapters 423E and 423F from 14 the certified annual reports of each school district received 15 pursuant to section 291.10, subsection 2, and shall submit the 16 information to the general assembly in an annual report each 17 February 1. 18 EXPLANATION 19 This bill requires the department of education to collect 20 specific information, relating to the expenditure of statewide 21 school infrastructure funding under Code chapters 423E and 22 423F, from school districts’ certified annual reports.
