with
the

of
purchasing
in
the
department
of
administrative

services,
the
state
board
of
regents,
and
the
state
department

of
transportation
in
performing
the
following
functions:

EXPLANATION

This
bill
relates
to
disabled
veteran-owned
businesses
and

the
department
of
economic
development.

The
bill
requires
the
department
to
encourage
and
assist

such
businesses
in
obtaining
state
contracts.
