S.F. 2110 Section 1. Section 537.1302, Code 2009, is amended to read 1 as follows: 2 537.1302 Definition —— Truth in Lending Act. 3 As used in this chapter, “Truth in Lending Act” means Title 4 1 of the Consumer Credit Protection Act, in subchapter 1 of 5 15 U.S.C. ch. 41, as amended to and including January July 1, 6 2008 2010 , and includes regulations issued pursuant to that Act 7 prior to January July 1, 2008 2010 . 8 EXPLANATION 9 This bill changes dates referenced in the definition of 10 “Truth in Lending Act” contained in Code chapter 537, the 11 consumer credit code, to conform to the July 1, 2010, amended 12 version of that Act, and regulations issued pursuant to the Act 13 prior to July 1, 2010. Currently, the definition contained in 14 Code section 537.1302 references January 1, 2008.
