is
amended
to
read
as
follows:

c.
Make
available
Provide
to
its
employees
upon
written
3
request,
a
written
statement
enumerating
employment
agreements
4
and
policies
with
regard
to
vacation
pay,
sick
leave,
5
reimbursement
for
expenses,
retirement
benefits,
severance
6
pay,
or
other
comparable
matters
with
respect
to
wages
when
an
7
employee
is
hired
and
to
all
employees
when
there
is
a
change
8
in
policy
.
Notice
of
such
availability
shall
be
given
to
each
9
employee
in
writing
or
by
a
notice
posted
at
a
place
where
10
employee
notices
are
routinely
posted.

EXPLANATION
12
This
bill
strikes
the
requirement
that,
in
order
to
receive
13
such
information,
employees
must
provide
a
written
request
to
14
employers
who
have
paid
claims
or
been
assessed
civil
penalties
15
relating
to
wage
payments
and
who
have
been
directed
by
the
16
labor
commissioner
to
make
available
written
information
about
17
the
employer’s
agreements
and
policies
about
vacation
pay,
18
sick
leave,
reimbursement
for
expenses,
retirement
benefits,
19
severance
pay,
or
other
comparable
matters
with
respect
to
20
wages.
The
bill
provides
that
such
employers
must
provide
the
21
information
when
an
employee
is
hired
or
to
all
employees
when
22
there
is
a
change
in
policy.
