adding
the
following
new
subsection:

SUBSECTION

14A.
Provide
a
copy
of
the
certificate
of

release
or
discharge
from
active
duty
to
the
county
commission

of
veteran
affairs
for
the
county
where
the
released
or
5
discharged
individual
resides
within
thirty
days
of
receiving
6
the
certificate
of
release
or
discharge
from
active
duty
from
7
the
applicable
branch
of
service.

EXPLANATION

This
bill
requires
the
department
of
veterans
affairs
to
10
provide
a
copy
of
the
certificate
of
release
or
discharge
11
from
active
duty
to
the
county
commission
of
veteran
affairs
12
for
the
county
where
the
released
or
discharged
individual
13
resides
within
30
days
of
receiving
the
certificate
of
release
14
or
discharge
from
active
duty
from
the
applicable
branch
of
15
service.
