feet

the
centers
of

first
and
fifth
axles
of
sixty-one
feet,
and
a
minimum
4
distance
between
the
two
rear
axles
of
at
least
eight
feet
and
5
one
inch
is
eighty-six
thousand
pounds.

EXPLANATION
7
This
bill
provides
weight
limitations
for
vehicles
carrying
8
grain,
fertilizer,
or
agricultural
chemicals
that
currently
9
apply
to
livestock
and
construction
vehicles.
The
new
weight
10
limitations
apply
to
vehicles
with
six
or
seven
axles
traveling
11
on
noninterstate
highways.

In
addition,
current
law
allows
a
livestock
vehicle
with
13
five
axles,
a
minimum
distance
of
61
feet
between
the
centers
14
of
the
first
and
fifth
axles,
and
a
minimum
distance
of
eight
15
feet,
one
inch
between
the
two
rear
axles
to
carry
a
maximum
16
gross
weight
of
86,000
pounds.
The
bill
extends
the
weight
17
allowance
to
similar
vehicles
carrying
grain,
fertilizer,
or
18
agricultural
chemicals.
