H.F. _____ Section 1. GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS PROPOSAL —— 1 PRIORITIZATION. The Iowa climate change advisory council 2 shall prioritize the policy options relating to reducing 3 greenhouse gas emissions contained in the updated proposal 4 submitted by the council as required pursuant to Code section 5 455B.851, subsection 7. The prioritized policy options shall 6 be submitted to the general assembly by January 1, 2011. 7 EXPLANATION 8 This bill requires the Iowa climate change advisory council 9 to prioritize policy options relating to reducing greenhouse 10 gas emissions developed by the council and contained in an 11 updated proposal submitted to the general assembly pursuant 12 to Code section 455B.851, subsection 7.
