H.F. _____ Section 1. Section 144C.10, subsection 4, Code 2009, is 1 amended to read as follows: 2 4. The rights of a donee created by an anatomical gift 3 pursuant to section 142C.11 chapter 142C are superior to the 4 authority of a designee under a declaration executed pursuant 5 to this chapter. 6 EXPLANATION 7 This bill makes a technical change to clarify that the 8 rights of a donee created by an anatomical gift pursuant to the 9 revised uniform anatomical gift act contained in Code chapter 10 142C are superior to the authority of a designee named in a 11 declaration under the final disposition act contained in Code 12 chapter 144C. 13 -1- LSB 5836HC (4) 83 av/nh 1/ 1
