H.F. _____ Section 1. Section 29C.20A, Code Supplement 2009, is 1 amended by adding the following new subsection: 2 NEW SUBSECTION . 3A. A recipient of grant funding shall 3 receive reimbursement for expenses upon presenting a receipt 4 for an eligible expense or shall receive a voucher through 5 a voucher system administered by the department of human 6 services. A voucher system shall ensure sufficient data 7 collection to discourage and prevent fraud. 8 EXPLANATION 9 This bill relates to the distribution of moneys from the 10 disaster aid individual assistance grant fund. 11 The bill provides that a recipient of grant funding shall 12 receive reimbursement for expenses upon presenting a receipt 13 for an eligible expense or shall receive a voucher through 14 a voucher system administered by the department of human 15 services.
