The following amendment to the Constitution of 1 2 the State of Iowa is proposed: 1 3 Article I of the Constitution of the State of Iowa is 1 4 amended by adding the following new section: 1 5 MARRIAGE. SEC. 26. Marriage between one man and one woman 1 6 shall be the only legal union valid or recognized in this 1 7 state. 1 8 Sec. 2. REFERRAL AND PUBLICATION.
