  1  1    Section 1.  Section 331.756, subsection 41, Code 2009, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    41.  Provide the Iowa department of corrections with
  1  4 information relating to the background and criminal acts
  1  5 committed by each person sentenced to a state correctional
  1  6 institution from the county as provided in section 904.202 in
  1  7 rules adopted by the department of corrections.
  1  8    Sec. 2.  Sections 904.201, 904.202, 904.203, 904.204,
  1  9 904.205, and 904.206, Code 2009, are repealed.
  1 10                           EXPLANATION
  1 11 This bill strikes provisions specifying custody levels and
  1 12 other admission and custodial requirements of certain
  1 13 correctional facilities.
