PILOT
PROJECT.
By
January
1,
2011,
the
department
of
public

safety,
in
cooperation
with
the
department
of
transportation,

shall
design
and
implement
a
pilot
project
utilizing
one
or
4
more
photo
traffic
enforcement
devices
for
the
enforcement
5
of
posted
speed
limits
in
work
zones
on
primary
highways.

The
department
of
public
safety,
in
consultation
with
the
7
department
of
transportation,
shall
report
to
the
general
8
assembly
on
or
before
December
31,
2011,
regarding
the
results
9
of
the
pilot
project.

EXPLANATION
11
This
bill
requires
the
department
of
public
safety,
in
12
cooperation
with
the
department
of
transportation,
to
design
13
and
implement
a
pilot
project
by
January
1,
2011,
utilizing
one
14
or
more
photo
traffic
enforcement
devices
for
the
enforcement
15
of
posted
speed
limits
in
work
zones
on
primary
highways.
A
16
report
to
the
general
assembly
regarding
the
results
of
the
17
pilot
project
is
due
on
or
before
December
31,
2011.
