Section
1.
HOME
MODIFICATION
——
REVIEW
OF
REQUIREMENTS.
The

department
of
human
services,
in
consultation
with
the
2
department
on
aging,
area
agencies
on
aging,
and
other
3
organizations
representing
the
interests
of
older
Iowans,
shall
4
review
the
requirements
for
home
modification
under
the
medical
5
assistance
home
and
community-based
services
waiver
for
the
6
elderly,
including
the
lifetime
cap,
and
recommend
options
and
7
determine
the
fiscal
impact
to
the
state
of
any
changes
to
the
8
requirements,
including
increasing
such
cap.
The
department
9
shall
report
its
findings
and
recommendations
resulting
from
10
this
review
to
the
governor
and
the
general
assembly
no
later
11
than
December
15,
2010.

EXPLANATION

This
bill
directs
the
department
of
human
services
in
14

the
